MyMachine — Where a Child's Wildest Idea Becomes Real

What if a child's drawing could become a working machine? That is exactly what MyMachine makes possible.

MyMachine Global Foundation is a unique intergenerational collaboration, primary school children invent a Dream Machine, university students design a concept for it, and technical school students build a working prototype, all within a single school year. The child is the boss. The idea is sacred. No theme is imposed, no brief is given, just one open-ended question: "What is your Dream Machine?"

This model has already generated over 1.51 million student-hours across 30+ countries, proving that when children's ideas are taken seriously, extraordinary things happen.

At Kalvi, this is more than a programme, it produced a global moment. Grade 5 student J. Kadhir Kumanan's idea for a Best Friend Robot was selected for the MyMachine DreamsDrop 2024 Campaign, with design students at the Tecnológico de Costa Rica bringing it to life as a Proof of Concept. Fellow Grade 5 student T. Abinesh contributed his Defence Watch concept to the same campaign — both Kalvians earning their place among young inventors from across the world.

At Kalvi, we believe every child has an idea worth building. MyMachine proves it.
